Technology Highlights
- The invention helps in controlling pest infestation in cattle and boosts livestock health through proper usage of
backrubbers. - The invention provides solution to the problem of waste and spillage of backrubber solution as the applicator
provides convenient process for soaking and re-soaking a backrubber. - The invention's design makes soaking and resoaking a cloth backrubber quick and effective with minimal time
,effort and waste so the pour on solution can be applied evenly on the backrubber. - The inventions portability makes it easier to perform maintenance resoaking of backrubbers without having to
remove the backrubber from the high traffic areas on farm where they are being used. - The invention's detachable design makes the soaking and re-soaking of backrubber simple for all users.
- The invention comprises built in hooks formed on each end of the applicator so a properly hung backrubber does
not need to be removed in order to initially soak at first installation or resoak as needed. - The invention covers different length applicators for several different length backrubbers.
- There is a 10' applicator for a 10' back rubber for the full soaking in one application.
- There is a 5' applicator that can be used on a 5' backrubber and also the 5' back rubbers can be linked together for 10'or
15' applications. The 5' applicator can be used on each 5' section to soak or resoak the entire backrubber. - No more rolling your backrubber in a tub to soak it then having to drag it out and install it where you will be using it. Simply hang your back rubber, attach the applicator. pour on the solution until saturated then remove the applicator. Pour any unused solution back into your solution bottle or jug and your done.
- Using this applicator will save time and solution. In testing on a real working cattle farm soaking and resoaking times went from 10 to 20 minutes per backrubber the old way to 1 1/2 minutes to 3 minutes on average with this applicator for each application with very little waste for a 10' version.
- This applicator can be hung on a barn wall with specific hooks and is a great storage device during the off season for your backrubber when not in use, It will keep your backrubber clean and out of your way till you are ready to install it in the field again.
