  • The invention includes a rotor that functions as an enclosed turbine wheel filled with liquid during operation, with intermittent injection and discharge of liquid from the chambers as they rotate about the rotor axis. Under no-load conditions, the rotor operates at maximum speed, power output and exhaust flow remain minimal.
  • The invention includes a rotor supported within the main chamber of the rotor housing for rotation about a rotor axis concentric with the peripheral wall. The rotor includes a circular core and multiple radial vanes mounted at circumferentially spaced positions, extending outward from the core toward the outer peripheral wall of the rotor housing.
  • The invention provides vanes that form equally sized rotor chambers around the rotor periphery. Each chamber is bounded radially by the core on the inner side and by the peripheral wall of the rotor housing on the outer side, circumferentially each chamber that is positioned between an adjacent pair of vanes.
  • The invention provides bearings centrally mounted in the valve plate and the opposing plate of the outlet chamber to rotatably support the axle extending through them. The two bearings are positioned axially along the axle in accordance with the axial dimension of the outlet chamber.
  • The invention includes a hydraulic pump that is configured to supply pressurized hydraulic fluid through an inlet manifold, providing a common fluid supply to all four injectors. The fluid injected into the rotor chambers is subsequently discharged from the rotor housing through the valve mechanism and collected in the outlet chamber, from where it is returned to the reservoir of the hydraulic pump.
